ROY VOLLMER

I begin with intent to investigate possible relationships of an idea by a single image sketch or a set of images drawn on lined or graph paper. The image or images created are not literal or figurative but abstractions. The materials I am working with are acrylic paint on wood panels eight or twelve inches square.

MY EXHIBITIONS

Trained as an architect, Roy Vollmer has a long history of making artworks of drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture. He is interested in geometrical and color relationships. His work has been in several exhibitions.
